Affiliate Disclosure

How I may earn income from links on this site, and how that affects what I write.

Wise and Faithful is committed to honesty in all things, including how it earns money. This page explains affiliate relationships plainly.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click a link and then make a purchase, sign up for a service, or take a qualifying action, I may receive a small commission or referral fee - at no additional cost to you.

What I Do and Don't Do

I only recommend products and services I have personally evaluated or used. I clearly disclose in articles when affiliate links are present. I provide honest assessments, including limitations and drawbacks.

I do not recommend products solely because they pay a commission. I do not accept payment to write favourable reviews. Affiliate relationships do not influence my ratings or conclusions.

Which Products May Have Affiliate Relationships?

I may have affiliate relationships with financial products and services including:

  • Investment platforms (e.g., Wealthsimple, Questrade)
  • Banks, credit unions, and mortgage providers
  • Book retailers
  • Financial software and apps

This list changes over time. When in doubt, assume any link to a financial product or service may be an affiliate link.

Why This Matters

Canada's Competition Bureau requires clear disclosure of material connections in advertising and endorsements. This page, combined with in-article disclosures, is how that requirement is met here.

Affiliate income, where it exists, does not change the editorial commitment of this site: to write honestly about money for Canadian Christian men.
