This is where I invest. TFSA, RRSP, FHSA - all in one place. Zero account minimums, commission-free Canadian stock and ETF trading, and a genuinely excellent mobile app. Their managed portfolios (Wealthsimple Invest) charge 0.4-0.5% and handle everything automatically.
Best for: Anyone starting out, or anyone who wants simplicity without sacrificing capability.
Questrade - Best for Self-Directed Investors
Free ETF purchases, low stock commissions, and the most comprehensive self-directed platform in Canada. If you are comfortable picking your own index ETFs and want the lowest possible fees, Questrade is the move.
Best for: Intermediate investors who want full control and lower fees than a robo-advisor.

Monarch Money - Best for Couples
The budgeting tool my wife and I use. Handles two incomes well - including when one changes year to year - shows everything in one dashboard, and does not feel like a punishment to open. Budget, investments, net worth - all in one view.
