Nobody sits down and decides to keep their money separate for fifteen years. It just happens. Two paycheques, two banking apps, an e-transfer once a month to square things up, and a conversation that never quite gets scheduled. Auto loans led the climb at 7.9%, lines of credit followed at 7.4%, and total consumer debt set a record at $2.64 trillion. Whatever account setup you land on, both of you should be able to name your household's number. You cannot steer what neither of you looks at.

Biblical Manhood Tip of the Week
Book a monthly money meeting with your wife.
Pick one evening a month, put it in both calendars, and sit down together while the accounts are open: thirty minutes, dessert on the table, phones in the other room. Look at what came in, what went out, and agree together on what the next month gets to cost.
Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet? (Amos 3:3)

Good News About the Good News
Here is a number the evening news skipped. More than 450,000 missionaries are serving outside their home countries right now, according to the 2026 Status of Global Christianity report from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and the researchers project that number will approach 700,000 by 2075. The same report counts over 2.6 billion Christians worldwide and expects 3 billion before 2050. The church is still sending. Christ said he would build his church, and nearly half a million people have left home to be part of how he is doing it.
